Oh the found memories I have of when this picture was taken! March 2020 in the Engadin valley of Switzerland. I can't wait to get on my skis again this year and explore our back yard of Big Sky. I wish I had a lofty goal set like last season's training for the 52nd Engadin Ski Marathon. Perhaps I'll settle for our local West Yellowstone marathon instead. Anyone want to join? What are your winter fitness goals?
No matter the goals I end up setting, it will be important for me to prep and maintain not only a strong body but a flexible one as well. Ski season training tends to focus heavily on legs, but it is just as important to focus on the core and flexibility as well.
Make sure to check out our November classes for all three benefits and in December look for the ever important 'Restorative Yoga~Apres Weekend Ski' class on Mondays, Barre class on Wednesdays and 'Ski Prep~Yoga Flow' class of Fridays; a great way to limber up for the weekend ski warrior.
